During a recent social media marketing and copywriting workshop, I was honestly surprised by how many real estate agents and brokers admitted they’d never been taught the value of personal branding.
We had a great discussion about how so many in our industry focus all their energy on selling properties—yet overlook the one asset that truly builds trust and drives sales: themselves.
When I brought up LinkedIn as a powerful platform to attract high-quality clients (aka the ones with real buying power), the reaction was unanimous:
“Onga noh? Puro kami Facebook!” 😅
Here’s the truth:
Clients don’t just buy properties—they buy trust. And trust starts with YOU.
If you’re not intentionally building your personal brand, you’re leaving money—and credibility—on the table.
Now I’m wondering… what other industries might need this kind of wake-up call?
Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
