Nature Heals…
So people go to the beach.
Nature’s only true and certified therapist.
You sit there, pretending the waves might hand you life advice.
“Hey, should I just quit?”
Splash…
“Was that a yes?”
Whoooooosh!!!
“Okay, okay. Fine. I get it.”
That’s Wavespeak for:
“Gago ka ba?”
You surrender. Defeated, sun-kissed, and mildly dehydrated, you buy an overpriced buko shake na nakalagay pa sa bao. And let Coco Mama soothe thy restless soul like a tropical band-aid for an existential crisis.

The Illusion of Escape
Picture, picture.
Posing, posing.
Leaving a pretentious legacy for no one. A filtered life to prove you’re “fine.”
But the real background—beyond these postcard-worthy beaches in Davao or Boracay—isn’t the mountains hanging on the horizon like wall art. It’s the existential dread that tags along, tucked in your beach bag, refusing to stay home.
Yes, the beach helps—for a moment. But then reality creeps back in, reminding you:
“Home is still 245 kilometers away.”

At the End of the Day? Gabi Na.
Sunset comes.
Salt still in your hair. Or the proverbial “anit” if you’re balk like I am..
And you realize something:
At the end of the day, gabi na. No grand breakthrough. No life epiphany. No answers.
Just this feeling.
This moment.
That’s all there is to it.
To this.
